Since you haven't filled in your location with anything valid, it's going to be impossible for those near you who might know the laws to answer your question.

If you were in Washington, it would be illegal for you to remove your doors on the street.

ask for a written (proof) letter from either the local pigs or your insurance vultures.

something like that. you'll find out if they are at least. (I had to do this when I was driving without a hood)

Yeah, just call your insurance agency or the local police station and ask for a copy of the door law.

If you can remove your door, make a bracket and bolt your mirrors to the holes for the door hinges.

On a side note, I see plenty of Jeeps with no doors, why are they so special?!

In Washington, the CJ5 and CJ7 type Heeps can get away with it because they came from the factory with removeable doors. However, the Wrangler types can't any more than we can. Basically, it comes down to how the rig was crash tested. Ours were tested with doors that were an integral part of the structure.

If you look, you'll see that the mirrors on most are mounted to the body, as well as the edge of the body comes up a few inches up from the floorboard. You have to step over that to get in and out. That may make a difference insurance wise.

Plus, they're Jeeps. Everybody knows only the cool kids in town drive Jeeps. And cool kids get to do whatever they want.

Down here in Texas you don't have to have any doors to pass inspection just a windsheild and a rear view mirror. but up north they seems to be more strict

There is no door law in Arizona. My uncle is the former Cheif of Police of Peoria, AZ. I was at his place a few weeks ago with my 4Runner that has tube doors and he said that there is no law in AZ that states you have to have doors or mirrors for that matter. But I have side mirrors anyway just to be safe.

Adam makes a great product and is one of the nicest guys in the business...$200 for a pair has got to be cheaper than the ticket(if there is one)

x2 on the tube doors. they look awesome in my opinion and provided *some* ejection protection if you get hit

Here in PA you need mirrors. As long as you have mirrors, they don't care.

Also, YJ Wranglers came with removable doors from the factory. They just lift right off.

you can get away without doors in washingtion so long as you have a side mirror.

I had a buddy get nabbed a few years ago for running his yota without doors the cop cited him only for not having a side mirror

and for the record, some toyota pickups came stock without a pass side mirror OR a rear bumper

like our 87 4x2 =) ... and for the other record i have been pulled over in that truck for NO REAR BUMPER... idiot cop, didnt ticket me tho .

and have been pulled over in my 87 4x4 and the Stater told me i needed a rear bumper, i didnt argue that time =)
