Does anyone know if I install a CB here in the UK if it will work when I take my truck back to the states? I figure they run on different bands or frequencies but thought I would give it shot on here. Luke's latest CB mod in the panel beneath the stereo has got me going on thinking I want one but I am not going to bother if it's not the same.

 

I did a Google search and found this . Seems that the frequencies are the same around the world, but modes are different. US uses AM, USB, LSB while UK uses FM. Seems the short answer to your question is no.

You might search for Citizens Band Radio on Google. There is lots of info available.
