White Grill

I am interested in painting my grill white to match my 4runner, So has anyone done this? Do you have pictures? Or does anyone have a white 3rd gen grill they want to sell? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think it might look good, if you did it right, and did a good job. You could do the satoshi mod. I think that would probably look better, then just sand down the chrome part good, then primer and paint it.

I've seen a few people on here who have painted their grills to match their rig, looked pretty good. Don't see why white would look any different.

yeah I would but I'm horrible at Photoshop. Any assistance?

The satoshi mod looks great and I am definitely considering that too. But even then I would want to paint over the chrome.

Ya....I think the satoshi mod, with the white around it would look pretty good. The satoshi is easy to do, just takes some patience. If you did it, you should also paint the toyota lettering white

I've seen an all white grill on a 4th gen. Looks Good. Color matching on both generations is a clean look.

You will need to pick up a grill from a 96-98 4Runner, as 99-02 will not work for the satoshi mod. You can find them on ebay pretty cheap, or look through a junkyard.

Here is an excellent write up on the satoshi mod:
