Where to get shock bushings/washers
Hey I just purchased some used Tokico front shocks and they do not have the top bushings or washers that press up around the top-plate.
I searched online but didn't find any information.
Where do I get some new ones, and are they pretty much interchangeable among all front Taco/4runner/Tundra shocks?

I used the ones that were on my original shocks. The directions that come with the (Tokico) shocks say to use the stock ones anyway. Of course, they don't leave you much of a choice since they don't include any. Mine weren't in bad shape, so I didn't fret much.

Well, I ain't taking apart my OME struts so thats why I want some new ones.
You guys think the dealer will have them? So $2.50 each. thats $10 for 4 plus 6 washers @ $3.00, thats another $18, so I'm looking at $28.00 for bushings and washers... wow, what a rip off.

if you are looking for bushings, try to track down some energy suspension. they are red. search around here (if you can) there are tons of threads on them.
i believe napa carries them. ill find out on friday when i take a trip down there.
i wonder if you have to use THEIR washers, or if you could just use some heavy duty fender washers from lowes or something. that would likely be MUCH cheeper, and thats what steve sent me in the SS1 kit for the rear shocks.

I have a bunch of spare shock parts lying around here. 2 spare top plates, the rubber piece that goes between the coil and the top plate(I assume this Is what you are needing) spare top plate studs, a revtek kit, stock shocks, etc. Let me know what you need and its yours.
BTW, what are you doing with your OME's? I am (very)interested in the shocks if you would sell them. I bought a pair new off here a few months back, but the guy I bought 'em from sent me no hardware with them, therefore I can't install them.
Just let me know what you need.
