The mounts for the guy lines on the bumper almost look the same as the mount for my CB antenna:

<--------- order 'em here

Add a set of turn buckles at each end to tighten the guy wires, and you'd be all set.
Not sure what Thorton used on the roof.

Arghhhh, Shane beat me to the punch

I bet you could make a muffler clamp do about the same thing.

Go to Home Depot and look at all the possible things that could swing that, I have to imagine there is more than one way to skin a cat.

I saw some really thick leather straps w/ metal rings...$4 at Joan Fabric. I would assume they world work, just dont know if they would deteriorate in weather. HomeDepot or AceHardware is bound to have something...

They're designed to be used as mount points for CB or amature radio antennas, and they clamp around the grill bar of most any ARB bumper.

....or are you asking about the thing PoBoy mentioned?

Question

Is there any way to run those w/o an ARB or TJM? like maybe with those antenna mounts that go in your hood, like Corey had.
