I jus broke my only one to my truck and can't find it anywhere online. I/ve never seen this kind of remote with buttons on the key for the 4runner

I've never seen a remote with buttons on the key fob either.....take some pictures and post them up, maybe some one will be able to identify it.....

 

I saw a "kit" replacement last year on ebay uk site the fob was designed to work with aftermarket alarms and the key part was separate you'd take the key part to the locksmith for cutting then screw it into the "fob" and snap the cover on.
seemed very reasonably priced and it had key blanks for the older gen trucks/cars as well.

 

the key part is fine the remote is what i have assassinated lol

I'd love to have one of these for my 4runner.

I figured the key part was fine lol... but the kit I was talking about is a new remote part with the key attached and is too large to fit a key cutting machine all together so they have it separate.

 

it is for the gulf shores alarm, i had same problem. i got one through toyota of richardson or shoptrd.com for like $15. i bought two just in case. if they cant get you one p.m. me and ill make you a hella deal on the extra one i bought
