My dad is thinking of trading his 97 Tacoma for a Tundra, and at the same time my uncle is getting a 98 Tacoma. My uncle wants the same mods on my dad's tacoma, so I was thinking we could strip my dad's truck of the mods and sell it to him.

He wants: Grille Gaurd, Tube Steps, TailLight Gaurds, Bushwhacker Flares, AVS Ventvisors.

Which parts are interchangeble?

I dont know about the grill gaurd. The 98's and 97's have a different grill and headlight style, and I think the bumpers are different too. If my brother was home I could compare (he has a 95 and I have a 99). The oher stuff seems fine, but I dont know what a ventviser is.

 

Everything but the brushguard will definitely fit. The brushguard may actually fit, but will more than likely look pretty ghetto since the 97 and 98 Tacomas have a much different front end. Ive got a brush guard that I had on my 98 tacoma that I can gurantee will fit and look great on your uncle's truck. Let me know if you are interested in that.
