3rd gen 4runner shoes

i want to build up my 97 sr5 4wd 4runner w/ the diff locker and im in the process of getting money together for some rims n tires. im planning on using a 2.5" spacer lift, and want to run either a 32x11.5 or 31x12.5 tire...im just wondering what rim size i can get away with? ive tried putting my friends 15" rim on my 4runner, but the front calipers hit the inner side of the rim. the stock size is a 16x7 w/265.70.16s, but ive seen some tacos and 4runners run 15" rims? does it matter what manufacturer? aluminum/steel etc? and what backspacing would i need on a rim to prevent rubbing of my upper a arms? the stock tires are already pretty close to em, so i dont want to get a set of rims/tires for them to rub. thanks a lot. my main concern is rim size.

no it doesn't matter, if you came with factory 16" wheels, then ur brakes are designed for 16" wheels or larger.

Only us that came with 15's factory can use 15 " wheels.

damn that sucks. its so much more expensive to go with 16's and the tire sizes are more limited too..=P
