I get about 20 mpg combined highway/rural driving. Not too much city driving.
Drops to about 12mpg pulling my loaded snowmobile trailer. 1997 4wd 4runner, all stock, 4.10 gears.

98 4runner stock lift on 285/75/16 mts getting around 16 combined (I have no catalytic converters with a magnaflow)

Just bought my 4th 3rd gen

My 4wd with 184k gets 18/21 city/hwy pretty consistently but I drive like a grandma. Lol open road with the sunroof open...nothin better.
