The guy won't sell many of them if they're crap, because the feedback system on ebay will put them out of business. But, the guy might be just trying to make a quick buck and call it quits, or there is some substance to this thing, and he's really hoping for positive responses after someone makes a purchase.

The buyers are "private" cause he doesn't want everyone to email and warn them. On the feedback it also shows "private" so you can't even tell what the other things he sold were.

The plastic impellers probably wont damage the engine too bad when it grenades.

Looks like a bathroom fan, doesn't it? Wonder if it is AC or DC powered?

Some one asked me once if one of those gas powered leaf blowers would give enough boost to the engine of a vehicle!!

How about this for your money?

Theoretically it should work!
I wonder if it does. A guy that races SCCA with me has an electric supercharger on his car. I have never talked to him about it. I won't see him for 2 months.
Anyone hear actuelly know someone who uses one?

In order for this to work on a MAFS equipped vehicle you would have to mount it before the MAFS. That means on the 3.4 you will have to do some serious hacking and run an extension with a K&N cone filter in front of the MAFS.

It will be a cold day in hell before I run a K&N filter ever again (because I off-road a lot).

The Honda's shown on the sites' dyno graphs have density-type airflow sensors at the manifold. So, that's how they hooked up those vehicles...I dont know about the others.

I would be very leary of this product.

Hey, I wonder if that's the same company that makes the Helix Power Tower?

Yeah, according to my calculations, by adding those 3 power mods, I will gain 40HP. Now that's awesome.

Theoretically, yes it might work... I've been toying with the idea of building something similar, though my design is significantly better (i.e. airflow variable with throttle position and RPM, strong construction, and will integrate directly into a 4runner intake without removing the airbox or MAF, i.e. an ISR replacement, best w/ deckplate). Of course I plan to try it on my rig extensively, but if my little concept plays out, it might be a good low cost way to get some power. Not as much as a real supercharger (some loss will result since it wouldn't replace the intake manifold like the SC) but certainly worth the cost. Naturally, I plan to write what happens, good or bad, on this forum... Gonna be a while for that however.

Post Their garantee...

Here is their performance garantee. Yeah, like anyone is going to go through all this to return the product. No matter what you will be out 1/2 the dyno fees and shipping. 3.4's need not apply, as the garantee only applies to vehicles that can hit 6000 RPM. Last time I checked, my redline was 5500.

Performance Guarantee:
After purchasing and (properly) installing the e-RAM on your engine, you do not feel that the performance increase is what we have claimed (4%-6% HP increase), you just need to do the following within 30 days of receiving your e-RAM to get a full refund*.. Take your car to a dyno test in your area. Make dyno runs with and without the e-RAM activated, and take a picture of how it was installed. Mail the e-RAM back to us with the picture, a copy of your receipt, and a clear copy of your dyno comparison results (signed as witnessed by the technician running the dyno). If the dyno shows the e-RAM does not increase horsepower in your engine by an average of at least 4% of its previous horsepower throughout the 3000 to 6000 rpm range, and we conclude from the picture that you have installed the unit correctly, we will give you a full refund* and even pay for 1/2 your dyno fee! (up to a maximum of $50 reimbersement) *Full refund does not include shipping charges *Please see "compatability information" section below We challenge any other manufacturer of aftermarket bolt-on horsepower devices to make the same commitment! We know it works!

6000 RPM?

In case you missed it. That knocks all the Toyota trucks and SUV's out of the race right there.
