What plug to use w/ supercharged engine?

Hello, I have a 2003 Taco w/ V6 ( supercharged, headers, exhaust ) and I am wondering what type of plugs should I use. currently, I am using Denso Iridium IK-16- do I need colder plugs like IK-20 or IK-22? Also, what kind of wires should I use? please include brand and part numbers.

Thanks!!!

Try a search for this topic. I'm pretty sure a majority of the supercharged guys are running plugs that are at least 1 step colder, and some are even running two steps colder I think. I believe a search will yield a lot of info for ya.

Im running NGK BKR6EKPB-11 Plugs (1 step colder)

I went with these because thats what TRD recommended. Ive had them for about 10k miles with no problems.

I am using what Gadget recommends.

I think they are NGK BCPR7ET.

Please explain what the difference the one- or two- step cooler plugs make vs. the stock plugs.
