What exactly is this guy selling?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=1256

There is no description of what you are buying. It sounds like you are getting a copy of a write up in the tech section.

it is just a resistor that he's says to spice into your MAF sensor and it basically tricks the engine into thinking it's getting cold air intake. I wouldn't trust a resistor to do all that. there is an ecu mod out there somewhere but I can't remember where I saw it. I thought Dr. Z did something like "cut the brown wire and splice something or other..." but I can't remember, if it's not Dr. Z then sorry for the mistake, I think I read about it last fall. check his feedbacks from customers. it usually says in there what it is, even the Ohmage of the resistor, because most people are po'd he's charging like 3 bucks and then 5 bucks shipping for a resistor thrown into an envelope and mailed with a stamp.

but check him out tho, (0)feedback...i bet you he's just starting over with a different name on Ebay, all that BS about not avoiding warranty........blah blah
if it was race proven, it would not be sold by a 18yr old kid in his mom's garage

by "not voiding waranty" he means that it is EASY to remove, just pull it out, before you take the vehicle into the dealership, probably to fix something that his resistor caused.

I tried one of these mods on my Nissan truck. All it is is a resistor. But I will admit I could tell a big difference when I put on this mod. I think I got about 1/10 of a horsepower, and four more feet per gallon for my milage.
MONEY WELL SPENT!

Truely, I have heard of people getting noticalbe gains by doing this, just not me. you also have to beware because it sometimes turns on your check engine light in newer cars.
worth a buck to try it out though.
