I have been itching to get the running boards off my 4runner, however, I don't just want them just sitting in my garage. Short of selling them has any one done anything cool/creative/fun with them after they are off?

 

Usually people try and make money for mods by selling them on eBay.

 

Can't think of a single thing they'd be good for. Maybe some sort of funky new age art sculpture or something?

 

Kep 'em ready for sale since there are a few short folks (or ones with short girlfriends/wives) that want running boards.

I cut up the front caps of the running boards for forward mud flaps to protect the door paint. And trashed the rest. Probably be a smart thing to just sell them if you can get $108 for them though.
