My dog loves em'... I like them too. Mine came w/ the runner when I got it, so price wasn't a concern. They are super durable and clean up well, and my dogs a water dog too.

Ok, so the WO's look great, but I still like my Great Covers. The material doesn't conform to the seats like the neoprene so the fit isn't as great. But the Cordura is extremely thick and durable. Front buckets and rear seat comes to $259.90, which isn't cheap, but is less than the WO's. Color choices for the Cordura are only Oak and Charcoal.

It's dark outside, so I'll snap some pics tomorrow.

calimaridog,
Yeah that's cool. I think whatever works is great, it's just a preference thing and if it makes financial sense.
Look forward to seeing the pics!

My feathers weren't ruffled and I wasn't offended. But the original question was about wet okoles - you based them without giving any reasons, that's all. Feel free to call them whatever you want, but explain why you feel the way you do (which you did in your second post).

Do the "WO" covers make you sweat when it's hot?

Do a search, this has been beat to death. The short answer is yes and no... it all depends. But they are no better or no worse than leather seats, IMO.

FirstToy, those look awesome!! That color looks great, mind if I ask what style and color that is? I am going to place my order! Is there a recommended web site to buy from?
Does the rear seat armrest still function good with them? And what about if you fold the rear seat down for more storage?

Thanks HuntRunner,
They are the custom with the center section in a charcoal color (#11? I think). Anyway, go to wetokoloe.com and call the 1-800 to order. The website is too confusing to use.
They sent me sample swatches for color- and then ordered.

Rear seat armrest works fine. they leave a hole for the slide-out cupholder. Initially it's a tight fit but everything "breaks in" and is great.

Most of the time I have one of th rear seats folded for my bike and it's good. the back of the rear seats is very durable and waterproof so dirt/mud/dog drool can be washed off easily.

You can see pics of the free install in my PICTURES link in my sig below.

Wet Okole's are awesome seat covers. They can get hot though when it's hot out but unless you have some kind of mesh back on your seat to breathe through nothing's going to help unless your cab is a fridge.

my okoles are EXTREMELY comfortable and they look pretty good too. however, they came with my truck so i didn't have to pay for them. they DO have a few small holes in the passenger side. i'm ASSUMING it was from a dog. now, ME however, there ain't no friggin way i'd let a dog in ANY of my vehicles. i'm ok with my truck being hardcore muddy on the outside, but it's gotta be SPOTLESS on the inside. that's just me though.

Yes, dogs can be messy and I got tired of cleaning up after mine sometimes, kind of like kids I guess. But, to some of us, our canine companions are like family members and we have a lot invested in them - time and money! My lab has earned every right to ride in my truck, he works his ass off and even makes a little $$$ now and then.

Darx those seat covers are sweet. I am waiting on gettting my color swatch in the mail from OKOLE. What colors do you have there on your seats? Also, what color is your interior of your Tacoma? Is that oak interior?

I am thinking of doing Mocha with Orange "4Runner" on it.

I have the Oak interior. I had the luxury of going over to their Costa Mesa shop down the way from where I work. My receipt says I got colors 12 an 26.

For some reason the Oak interior on my truck is two different colors of brown. One's lighter than the other so the seat covers match the darker color better.

How does your dog earn money? Do you make him work the corner? *LOL*
