Wónt start while hot.

Hello guys, first of all, I,m not an English native speaker, so excuse my grammar... In second place I´m worried with a mysterious problem:
I own a 2000 4Runner Limited, 3.4 and v6 engine, (MOTOR: 5VZ-FE), having around 80.000 miles. Cold starting is fine, but after running a while, if I stop the engine for a short period of time (i.e. to buy a newspaper, or pick-up kid from school), it will start but like it has no fuel pressure, the engine runs at low rpm and stall after 2-3 seconds... It will start again but like starving of fuel for a while, then the revs go normal, the engine runs smooth and with normal power. This happens whenever I take short stops... worsens after refueling (¿some issue with fuel tank pressure?). It never happens after a long stop, and cold starting is fine.
I,ve checked fuel pump pressure, fuel filter, replaced air filter and spark plugs, but no results so far...
Any suggestions??
Sergio Ramos, CHILE.

Yes, a few others have had this same problem. I forget the name of the instrument that needs to be cleaned, but, its the green plastic peice underneath the throttle body.

Yes, could be a few things, but I would definately clean the IAC valve for starters.

I just finished cleaning the IAC valve. It was very dirty. It seems that the problem is gone, hot starting is good, and RPM´s are steady... Tomorrow I´m having a more extensive "road-test".
Thanks a lot for the help.....
