What does everyone thing about the Phillips vision plus bulb? Do you have any pics of what the look like and do you think they are brighter than the silverstars?

I got them from the link at the link above from the dude trying them in his motocycle. In short, I ordered them from here:

http://www.autolamps-online.com/halogen/visionplus1.htm

I ended up paying US $28 (including shipping) for a pair of "H4 VISIONPLUS" which are 60/55's. I also found them on eBay for an obnoxious amount with an obnoxious amount being asked for shipping (from the UK).

I probably should have wandered the 'Net for a while, but I was comfy paying $28.

fwiw, I have some cheapo 5000k bulbs now (http://www.midiwall.com/4Runner/hl.html) which I'm generally happy with, but like other folks say, the general performance of bulbs like this drops signifigantly in the rain.

I have them in my rig. They are graet in the dry, really lighting up the road. But they are poor in the wet, the wet road just seems to soak up the light.
Got them from Powerblubs.co.uk They came with a free set of matching parking lights. They are a perfect match for the heads.
Check out the pic.

The bumper lights are standard wedge parking bulbs by the way!

Crap... then I'm gonna have the same issues I have now with my $15 bulbs. sigh.

From other reports I read, I thought the VP's would do better in the rain. Oh well! Live and Learn

Dunno... I haven't personally tried the Silverstars.

From what I've seen/read/heard, the issue seems to be pretty locked into trying to use anything but yellow light in the rain. Hence how well fog lights work under those conditions.
