i have 98 Toyota Tacoma v6, auto, 4x4, ext cab. i am trying to install a viper 5701 alarm/remote start system on my truck that i just bought. i have a diagram for the alarm from viper and i found a wire schematic for my truck. im just getting confused on how to go about this and its my only vehicle so i need it done in a day and done right.

has anyone done one of these in the past where you can give me a few pointers or does anyone work at a shop that has a good knowledge on alarms?

Alarms keep honest people honest .

If your confused you should get some in person help or take it some place.

Remote starters seem to be more of a pain but if you are afraid of bombs I guess they are a fact of life.
