It seems to me like it would be lower with the 98 as well. Something closer to yours. Anyway, according to "the man" he is still in the safe range.

And Tom, Mark is right about adding fuel but you will only have to add in the portion of the fuel map between the boost range you have now and the boost range of the new pulley. Of course, you probably already knew that but I thought I would throw it out anyway

Holy cow, I used to hang out right there all the time at a stereo/speed shop where my friend worked. It was right next to a high-performance Porsche place.

Listen for the S/C whine. (and the diff noises, and the tranny slip, and the driveline thunk, and the ....)

 

@ Mark. The straight road across the valley (parallel to 124th st) by 60 acres used to be a great one too. I don't know how many times in high school and beyond we did some really stupid things on that road. I am so glad we never hurt anyone on that Slough trail that crosses that road.

 

Oh yeah... when I first installed the SMT - that was my testing lane. And then again with the S/C of course.

I will run the 2.2" pulley carefully & watch the EGT + adding some fuel on the boost map. Eventually, I may end up with fitting aquamist system Not only will it protect the engine but I beleive cooling the inlet charge will increase hp

 

Well cooling the inlet charge doesnt create HP...adding timing does...
