UPS commercial shipping???
Hey guys, how do you ship something UPS to a commercial address for the guy paying to get it cheeper? Do you just tell the people that it's a commercial shipping, and they just make it cheeper or what? Sorry for my mis-education.
Thanks in advance.

Normally you are asked if it is going commercial or residential, at that time you will tell them.
Feel free to shoot me a call if you have any other questions, I would be happy to help you out!

Thanks Mike,
Actually it's someone that is shipping me something(an ARB 3rd to be exact) and he sis unsure how to make it cheeper by sending it commercial. I'm gussing he would drop it off at the place. Anyhow I was quoted $40 shipping for it to residential which isn't abd but saving any amount of money is always a good thing.
Thanks Mike for the offer,

Where, do you have a site link, are those prices even better than commercial shipping? I saved close to $10 in shipping on my sliders w/ a commercial address.

You only save about $1.50 or $2.00 on a commercial delivery, or that is you don't pay the residential delivery surcharge of that amount. You basically need a "company name" on the delivery paperwork and that company should be paying to have daily pickups/dropoffs. If you ship from the customer counter and pay cash, usually the company name and a contact name for the person you are shipping to is enough. If you ship on-line witha UPS account, if the "company" turns out not to have daily pickup service, then they turn around and bill you for the additional cost.
Try looking at FedEx Ground/Home Delivery. If its under 70 lbs. they'll deliver to homes.

I only ship Fedex Ground/Home Delivery for my biz. Their prices are easily 25-40% cheaper than OOPS or USPS. Then I can pass the savings on to the consumer. You can sign up for an account at fedex.com and print out the shipping labels on your computer. Then you just have to drop it off at a Fedex box or counter. No waiting in line. Its great.
