i have a old toyota truck and want to upgrade to a newer tacoma around 1997-2000. is there any problems with the models of this time? i saw a tacoma that was a 2000 selling for $4000 and the advertiser said nothin was wrong with it. it looked like a scam so i didnt even call. what are some downsides to these tacomas?

 

Downside to your old pu would be not a solid axle up front. Everything else is an upgrade. Both engines will give you more power and good fuel economy. Just watch out for rust.
