UK 2nd gen runners

I have seen a few 4Runner on the net from the UK. The ones that have the rear tire carrier has red lenses in the place of our "yello" reverse lights. Does anyone know if this is true for all UK Runners?

Just grasping here, but does anyone have the part number for those lenses? I am thinking of converting my reverse lights into running lights (ala Range Rover).

Thanks.

Luke from here has a UK Runner but his has no tire carrier. Here in the UK we have to have fog lights and thats what the red lenses are. They are basically just souped up tailights you can turn with a switch. To make mine legal they mounted a ligh under my bumper. It lasted till the first time I climbed a hill! I just bolt it on and plug in the wires now for my yearly inspection

Here are the lights I am referring to. It is the "yellow" reverse lights in North America.

Joey, I don't get what you mean by this. You have fog lights in the back of the rig? Do you have a picture of this? Thanks. :fireman:

Hi Ryan, here is a picture of the rear of my Runner and where I have circled in red is my rear fog light. It is just a red light that you have to switch on from the cab when there is alot of fog around so that other drivers from behind can see you. Its daft really, but you have to have it over here.

Hope this helps

Luke

Luke,

That red lense you have circles is exactly what I am referring to.

I wonder how I would go about ordering a pair of those lense here in Canada?

Thanks.
