tuff crank

question ? when rolling down the windows on my 87 it's like trying to open a tough jar of picklies ( only comparision i can think of ) it should be a nice smooth roll down and it isn't ... do i need to rip the door apart ? or what ... it is more of an inconvience for the passenger any thoughts ? also when do decide to change the shocks ? thanks

I had this prob. on my 86 , and just spraying the left and right tracks the window goes up on helped tremendosely. I used silcone spray with the attached red straw thingy on the nozzle(prob use WD-40 also) Don't use white lithium thou. I would try that first before anything else.
