TRD tranny cooler question
My front license plate covers about 3/4 of my TRD transmission cooler. Is it getting enough air to do the job? It doesn't look like enough of it is exposed. My transmission gets a regular workout since I tow a boat and I have a supercharger. Ct is one of those silly states that requires a front plate.
I was thinking about taking a drill and turning the front plate into Swiss cheese to get better air flow. Is this necessary or am I just being paranoid?
Thanks,
Noel

MO is a state that requires front license plates..but i took mine off and i haven't gotten pulled over..if i do, i'll just say it fell off last week and i'm headin to get bolts for it...in the summer i say i took it off to wash the car and forgot to put it back on....it actually sits in my trunk..so i can tell him i have it, just not the bolts for it....

If you have it in your vehicle, there is a 99% chance you will not get a ticket. Most of the time the "front plate" stop is only PC for something else (i.e. fishing for bigger stuff). At least for me that's the case.
