Question Tranny Temp Gauge ?'s

I'm looking at getting an Autometer Z-Series Tranny Temp gauge, one of these guys: (#2640 at the bottom)

http://hp.autometer.com/products/zse...ic_gauges.html

It says that it comes with the following:
3/8" & 1/2" NPT adapter and 1/8" electric sender.

My question is what else will I need? How do I "tee" the sender into the factory line? I plan on splicing it into the soft hose to the cooler if that makes a difference. Do I NEED a manifold??

Thanks!

I'd just get a 3/8"NPT brass tee and two 3/8"NPT×whatever hose barb you need for your hose. Hose barb on each end, temp fitting in the middle with the 3/8" bushing and splice it into the cooler inlet line. Total cost: ~$5
