I have recently put Mobile 1 in my 02 Taco 4x4 after reading all the past threads, HOWEVER, my question is this: my book says 2.6 qts of fluid. I have always been told to fill the tranny till it comes out the fill hole which indicated that it was full. Should I keep it at 2.6 qts or fill it till it comes out the fill hole?

 

Until it comes out the fill hole is how I did it. Also - I drained mine before pulling the tranny for the clutch change. After I had the tranny on the ground I rotated and drained a few more ounces out. You may not get exactly 2.6 qts in it since it appears a small residual amount is left behind.
