tranny cooler???

Right now I am having a new tranny put in (under warranty )... its a manual on a 01 4x4 tacoma with the 3.4l v6.

Anyways, I was thinking of throwing in a tranny cooler... However, I noticed that the TRD cooler says "Automatic" Trans cooler....

whats the deal?
can you put it on a manual?
will it be efficient and worthwhile??

Thanks.

No such thing as a tranny cooler for a manual transmission.

Why? Manual transmissions don't need it, because they don't get nearly as hot as an auto.

Can you put it on a manual? No, because manual tranny fluid doesn't "flow" like an auto does. Therefore there would be no way to get it circulated through the cooler.
