Can anyone tell me if Toyota's come with OEM alarms. I bought my 2000 Tacoma pre-runner used and it came with an alarm. I can not find a model number on the remote but TDS is on one of them. I need a manual and wonder if anyone could offer any help

 

My 99 4Runner has a factory alarm.

You probably have the RS3200. Someone has it in pdf file. Do a search on "RS3200" and you should be able to find it.

 

Shaneman, if you have the square remote with one button and one red light then it is a TDS remote. These are simple to program and they are the cheapest remotes available. To make sure, shoot me your VIN and I will look up exactly what you have on yours.

The RS3200 system only comes on vehicles where the dealer or customer has specifically requested one. These remotes are gray with two buttons on a small key chain. They can range anywhere between 130 to 160 in price. In my experience we don't see to many of these come across our drive. That doesn't mean they aren't out there though. Programming that particular system is not fun either.

Hey bro, I am going to have to do some foot work on this one. We don't stock those, they are a port installed alarm system. Your vehicle was sold out of Jacksonville Fl so I will have to call my sister store and go from there. Give me a little bit and I will have a part number and hopefully instructions on how to program.

I have the same set up, but I need the wiring schematic for it. Its a 2001 Tacoma Double cab.
