Towing capacity??

What is the towing capacity for the front hooks of a 99' 4runner. Can they stand pulling a 1.5 ton truck?

Oh yeah that is fine. You could probably push it out if you're worried about pulling it. I push my GTO out of the garage when I don't want to start it and it weighs 3800 lbs.

I pulled my Porshe parts car off a trailer twice with the 4runner. It had 4 flats. Just put it in 4 low and go easy. It'll probably be easier with an automatic if that's what you have that a manual. That's kinda tricky.

While off roading, it is common to have to yank full size trucks out of mud holes, etc. This is usually done with great force and with the added weight of mud and being stuck and all of that it far exceeds 3,000 lbs. You'll be fine.
