Tow hitch and wiring
I just bought another 4Runner it's a 1998 Limited with Rdiff Lock. It's a clean truck with 84K. It doesn't have have a reciever hitch or wiring and was curious were to pick up a reciever and how difficult is it to wire for trailer lights?
Does anybody have experiance with this.?
Thanks in advance.

really simple.
they included harness points that just disconnect that you just connect T junction harness. costs like $30-40 though...
as for the hitch any welding place, or even u-haul can get you one...
or buy one online and install it yourself...

If you're not inclined to do-it-yourself, get estimates from the dealership and a few local places that sell campers/trailers. The latter usually have qualified technicians that can do a quality job installing hitches and wiring. I couldn't tell ya' if your local dealership's techs are qualified or not...

You can buy a hitch at Uhaul or online (Hidden Hitch, Reese, Drawtite, etc)
It isn't that hard to install. The wiring comes with instructions. You need to lift the interior rear left panel and the panel that goes acroos the back of the cargo area to hook it up.
