tough decision

alright.

there is a 85 4runner with 35's, ARB front and rear, and sliders thats for $2400

i can buy that and not lift my 1999 4runner limited

OR

not buy the older one and lift my 1999.

i dont know what to do!

wheel the 85 and use the 99 as a dd

no doubt, the arb's would be around $1500 alone

If the truck runs and is not rusty that is a smokin deal. If you don't buy it post some info...I am sure someone here will take it.

Just keep in mind if you have a trail rig...oh man the mods aren't cheap!! I can remember when a mod consisted of lining my ashtray with felt or something silly like that. Now they consist of Solid Axle Swaps, and dual transfer cases! Have a rig to beat on and a DD is the only way to go though if you want to wheel. Wheeling my 4-Runner was soooo much more fun when I didnt' have to worry about not having a way to work if I broke it while out wheeling.
