takes me about 20 minutes per side, but it may take you 1 hour per side if its a first time.

no it just requires you to take the coilover out!, if you have longer studs you just slip the top plates onto the studs over the top plate of the coilover, put it back in its shock mounts and you are set.

are the daystar spacers both?
the ones in the coilpack and outside?

And why would you have longer studs and no top plate lift?
the ones like this, all the smaller ones I have seen, require disassembly of the coil setup..

even on bamachems site he mentions using wheelers extended length studs..

yeah. i have the tundra/oem front setup from sonoran steel and it comes with the extended length studs.
it comes with the bamachem spacer that goes outside the coilpack.
i think blake has a picture with the 2 topouts in it. not sure where i saw it.

Not sure which top plate spacers you guys have installed, but all the ones I have seen and installed require coil spring compressors and removing the OEM top plate, to remove the OEM studs and add longer ones that will go thru the spacer and provide enough thread purchase for the retention nuts.... No way to do it without taking the coil apart, unless you get the kind like this..
And why would you have longer studs and no top plate lift?
... but thats WAY too much of a top plate spacer...

coil spacers go in the coil pack and are preload spacers, those have to be dealt with with the coil off the strut.
Wabfab has the longer bolts if you need them.
i just had my built by bamachem himself and i have 2 top outs on these studs, i have room for 2 more but not feasble and kinda dumb to do so.
and by the way that springtech spacer isnt a top plate spacer, thats a preload.

maybe to install longer studs, but you can even use longer bolts too, but not with top plate spacers, hence why they call em top plate spacers.

Alright, then your already good...
Top plate spacers require longer studs, or bolts (mine have bolts)... spring spacers require no modification to the stud length, only top plate.. hence the top plate parts.. In order to get the longer studs in you have to take the CO aprart, thou since he already has installed the longer studs he will be fine.. didnt realize they provide them in a kit w/out a top plate.

my donahoes now have predrilled holes so I could easily throw on a top plate with it and extended lenght bolts. but with the right studs already, its just plug and play, pull out and throw on spacer and bolt back in.
hes set so he wont have to fiddle with the strut assembly.

depends on the strut and strut assembly, Ive had cornfed preload spacers that used bolts, then I had my tundras with extended studs, im not sure what most struts have in the way of studs so thats beyond me.

I knocked my studs out and replaced with bolts on my cornfed lift.
