Took the Running Boards Off *Pics*

I like the new stance without the running boards. It looks like it has been lifted and I have gotten a few stares from people. I also made my own ramp out of some abandoned wood for some flex shots. Enjoy

I'm glad it helped. I put it on both forums so everyone would have an easier time finding it.

I just bought my 4R LTD a few weeks ago , it has those of course . Never even thought about removing these until now . It does look better for sure . Question is , what's under there holding these on ? How long did it take you to pull them off ? Not that I dont wanna go under there and look myself but its raining so hard here today I might have to build an ark

Thanks for any advice .

Just some bolts...you could do this with a "kitchen tool set" easily.

Just a few bolts is all. Not too hard at all. Although, I cannot take mine off yet, because my gf has to use the steps in order to get in. Can't wait till I get some sliders.

Oh, and I don't know if you had an XJ, but that's what she has right now and I'm trying to get her to ditch it for a Toyota. I had a 5.9L ZJ, myself.

Looks great!

I wonder if there's a market for your runningboards. I couldn't even give my chrome/plastic ones away.
