4runner joe

So I picked up a Tjm front bumper used from a 00 Tacoma, I have a 99 4runner with the bumper plates on the frame. The Tjm bumper mounts to the tow hook points behind the frame and off to the side. So from the research I've been doing which I'm not finding much, I'm going to have to cut the factory mounts off the frame and bolt it up that way? I just want to be clear on this before I start hacking away at the frame. Any help would be great. Thanks
