tire rub

i have a ss 7.1 with terragrappler 285's and my front tires rub at full turn either way... it rubs on the upper arm bracket i think its called...any ideas what to do? i was gonna do a body lift but its not rubbing on anything a body lift would get out of the way

It you are talking about the upper A-Arms, then yes, wheel spacers would work. Or...you can trim them.

Steve at Sonoran Steel sells the trimmed ones. Supposedly, they are quite nice. If you decide to go with wheel spacers, may I suggest Spidertrax Off-Road. they build their spacer to exact OEM specs. $99 per pair, but for other universal spacers being $69 on ebay, I'd much rather pay the extra $60 for perfect fit spacers.

I run 1.5" wheel adapters (spacers) from All-pro offroad. They are fine. Plus, I like the added width. The AR-767's are backspaced a little too shallow for me, so sticking them out a bit helps.
