One other tip for after you get the belt on is to drill a hole in the plastic cover over the tensioner fixing bolt hole. That way you can tension the belt when it stretches without tearing the hole engine down again. Just make sure to use some type of plug for the hole.

Yes there is a diff in a post 92 engine and a pre 92...sometime near mid 1992 toyota shifted from a spring type tensioner (ON THE PRE 92s) to a hydrulic type tensioner but the t belt is the same one for both types
