Go to the parts department... they *should* know more than the salesman.
As for the S/C, It doesn't look like they are making an S/C for the 4.0. There is however a company that has been s/cing Tundras and they are working on a pretty ambitious project. I was thinking about getting an X a little while ago and this is what I found...

They are shooting for 379hp w/ a vortech type s/c... Pretty interesting

I'm 99% sure they are the same. They are definately the same unit, whether or not one got a differen't cam etc to squeeze a couple ponies out I don't know. Check the hp numbers, but looking at the price... I don't think they did a darn thing.
