For those without cargo boxes

I saw this on the 'Net a little bit ago.
http://www.vanpaksmore.com/

It fits behind your rear seats for the cargo area and can hold some stuff.
Reminds me of the one I had on my '79 Toyota behind me that fastened to the rear below the window.

Nice box there.
Looks like it will hold quite a bit.

I sure like my box. Comes in handy.

Thumbs up

Firefighter - nice storage! I'm glad this topic came up. I would like to enhance my storage as well. I'll probably go with a shelf rather than drawers because I like being able to keep heavy stuff like a cooler and action packers under the shelf and then stack light stuff like sleeping bags above it.

Has anybody seen an example where folks mounted brackets above the wheel wells and then had a removable shelf? I haven't pulled the plastic to see if there are good mounting points yet.

Eventually I would like to extend the shelf to act as a bed (like I did in my montero).

Of course I would have to carpet the shelf in my nice, clean 4runner.

That was a nice setup you had in the Monty Trans.

Check out Lee's rig here.

He has a big cargo box that he also laid down a borad to extend across the top and then sleep on it with the rear seats folded down.
