This is the situation:
When I bought my truck it had a camper shell on it and it had the third brake light hooked up to it. So now that it is off my third brake light on top of my cab does not work. So does anybody know how to fix this. I'm sure they rerouted the wire to the third brake light somewhere, but I do not know where this might have been. Anybody with a camper shell hook up the third brake light on your shell and know how this is done? This might lead me in the right direction. Oh and I don't think it is a blown fuse because I've checked all the fuses in the kick panel and nove of them are blown. Thanks for any and all replies.

 

I'm assuming you know the bulb is good, right? (just checking the obvious)

I guess I'll check that tonight, but I'm pretty sure it was just re-wired to the camper shell. But hey thanks for the reply.

 

Whoever wired up the light for the campershell may have just taken the bulb out on the truck.
