Tech1 Rock Crawler Pics Request

I am definitely sold on the black rims look and I'm close to jumping on the bandwagon and finally getting some. Please post pics of your trucks w/ 'crawlers. I'm especially looking for someone who's running them on a silver/gray 'Runner. I think Doink's the only one I've seen so far w/ this combo. I think they look awesome on darker colored trucks. I need more input to push me over the top. Thanks.

Another option is to go with Unique's like me. Watch out for the gay-pride red and blue stripe. Nothing a little prep and paint didn't fix!

My 16x7's ran $45 each.

Pics in the sig and avitar.

Hey Christian,

The actual brand you bought are "Unique's," or were you referring to something else. The only kind I have seen without the red and blue strips are the Tech 1's.

I'm thinking about throwing a set of these on my rig when I am back home this summer, so I'm just trying to find some info out.

Alright, help me decide guys:

1. Wait till I need new rubber (probably next summer '05 at the earliest) and install new black steelies then with 32" BFG's

or

2. Go ahead and put some black steelies on this summer and run them with my 31" Michelin's

I can already guess what most people will say, but new tires are out of the picture for me right now - just can't afford that expense. Anyway, let me know what y'all think!

Cody

The only upside to waiting would be that you would be able to get a package deal with new tires and wheels but I would go ahead and get the new wheels. Thats what I did and I couldn't be happier with them

Cool Push

Here's a gentle shove...in the right direction.

For the Tech1s: 4wheelparts

For the black lugnuts and Gorilla black locks: Wheeler's Off-road

Come on over and join the dark side of the force...

EDIT: I got (5) Tech1s, lugnuts and locks for around $350 or so if I remember correctly.

Waskilly...I'm practically there; your truck was my inspiration! I found some Tech1's at www.4wheelonline.com for $48 each (16x8).

I have ProComp Rock Crawlers. Black center caps are on the way.
Like Waskilly said, come join the dark side.

Cody-

Yeah, the brand I got were Unique's. Paint work is no bigee to me, so I got them. If you dont want to deal with it, go Tech1 all the way.

I paid $275 for everything installed. Wheels, black lugs, wheel locks...
