Tail Gate rattles

locking mechanism works fine but does not close tight. So the tail gate rattles like heck. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

What year is it? There are some plastic bumpers that can be replaced.

my 04 rattles a little in the drivers-side corner. makes me mad...
