Yesterday night I went to start up my truck (89 4WD Pickup) and it hardly idled. It had a low putting sound to it. Today I try to start it again, it did the same thing, and then it died. I looked at the throttle body, and it has a puddle of oil sitting in it. What does this mean? Thanks.

 

It means that you need to clean your throttle body once in a while. Use carb cleaner and spray it out. A can of BG44k fuel injector cleaner in the gas tank wouldn't hurt while you're at it...
