Well the other day my taillights, dash lights, and runn ng lights all went out, the tail (10) fuse blew thats under the hood, Ive searched and found others with the problem but no solution. --Its a 96 4runner

So can anyone post a wiring diagram or tell me some specific areas to look at?

Did you try replacing the fuse, and see if it blows again. If it does check the taillight, license plate and front marker light bulbs, sometimes when a filament goes it ends up shorting to ground.

I can send you a wiring diagram from an 01, it should be similar enough for the tail and dash wiring.

I had this happen to me because I tried to wire my brake lights and tail lights together to the trailer wiring without a converter. Yeah, I had no idea what I was doing.

Do you have wiring for a trailer? Maybe there is a short in one of the wires.
