Tacoma Parking brake in 4Runner
i searched, but the search sucks so bad now....
anyway, im looking to get rid of that useless piece of plastic known as the 3.0 gen center console. im designing a custom one, but one sticking point im having is the parking/emergency brake. its smack dab in the middle of the tranny hump, and REALLY in the way. i know the 3.5 gens had it pushed to the side, but the console im designing currently wouldnt work well with this either.
so my question is, can i retrofit the tacoma dash mounted parking brake t-handle into my 4runner.
something i need from you guys: pictures detailing the mounting of the taco brake. where does the cable run from the dash?
so do you guys think this is possible, or am i wasting my time? i really hate having that handle there, and i dont really want to do the 99+ console swap for other reasons...

yea i remember that parking brake in my parents 90. just thought the taco one would work better, since the taco and 3rd gens are close.
