Tacoma frame question/s

Which years of Tacoma would be compatible for frame replacement of a 1999 Tacoma 4x4 ext cab? It's that time (rust) and I realize it's a lot of work, but the 3.4 still purrs, truck still drives nicely. I'm unwilling/unable to pay the prices for a new truck, and I'm no fan of 4 door pick ups (majority of my 'buds' LIKE 4 doors though). Thanks for any input.

Why not fix what you have? Just start welding in some plates where needed.

A frame swap is a lot of work. I pulled the cab and bed on my ‘94 to do a frame repair after rot set in. Check the thread in my signature.

Personally i would either try to part out your good motor, or find a truck that needs a motor and swap that. It’s far easier than swapping the frame.
