longbox frame to shortbox frame?

longbox frame to shortbox frame?
I have a 1983 longbox with a shortbox flatdeck modified onto it. I have found a sandblasted short box 1st gen frame, can I swap frames? What would I need to buy? Is it just driveshafts? any info or direction to links would be helpfull. Thanks.

Just the rear driveshaft. You'll need to have it shortened, or get one for a SWB. The length difference is from the cab back, +/- 6". 79-83 SWB = 103", 79-83 LWB = 109". And yeah, the brake lines, fuel lines and what-have-ya will need shortened too.

Actually he might be able to get away with keeping ghhis old lines in tact by putting in some relief bends lol
