Tacoma ARB Questions

Hey guys,

I know there are a few of you out there who have a Toyota Tacoma with an ARB front bumper.

Anyone have any issues with overheating? Does the bumper block airflow to the radiator?

I have never had any problems with the ARB on my 86' 4Runner, even with the 26 year old radiator (which was actually just recently replaced).

I picked up an ARB for my 02 Tacoma (3.4L V6, 5spd) and I just had a few concerns. The coolant was changed when I first got it back in November (approx. 12K ago). And i've never had a problem with it overheating.

I'm just concerned because every now and then I have to drive down into Philly and sometimes I just sit in traffic for hours.

Am i just being paranoid or am I on to something?

-Thanks!

Ok that's what I figured, thanks for the confirmation guys!

ARB is sending me a brand new bolt-kit so when it arrives I shall install the bumper.

ARB does a ton of testing for their stuff. Shouldn't be any issue.

I know they do. They are a great company who makes quality products and stands behind their work. I think I was just getting a bit paranoid.

x4 have the taco arb on my 97 runner. no issues other than a pinhole leak in my rad, but that was due to age anyway.
