nah its not that much. just basically what you see. just enough for campin. but the rest of the back is filled with ice chests, camping gear, clothes and my dog lol. 1/2 cord might be too much weight but im not sure

Yeah! Goin on the celebratory first camping trip to the central sierra this week, can't wait to test er out.

I took off the running boards and added flaps, any recommendations on important additions/mods for making it a more Sierra capable vehicle? I do mostly city driving, so I'd like to keep it as light/stock as possible.

oh you could search the threads and find all kinds of stuff. id just make sure you check your fluids, your battery and make sure you bring enough tools, maybe a tow strap, shovel, first aid, etc. you can never be too prepared. one thing i would suggest is a cargo bag from walmart. its like $20 and it holds more stuff than you can imagine! its also waterproof. i got like 8 blankets, 2 bags with a week's clothes, several coats, 4 pillows, tent, air mattress, and some other stuff and STILL had room!

you can see the bag on the roof in this pic

That seems like a really good lightweight alternative to a safari type rack! Although a low profile safari rack would look killer .

Tow strap and a box of tools are definitely high on the list.
