Sway bar endlink tightness

Hey guys i just replaced my sway bar bushing with the poly bushing kit from wheelers offroad. Ive done some looking around and i was wondering if it is necessary to tighten these down until they are compressed like the old rubber bushings. I think i might have tightened them too tight since i went until i couldnt put them any tighter. Any advise on how tight the sway bar endlink bushings need to be

I think the torque is about 50 ft-lbs.

Gotcha, i just dont have a torque wrench with me now and i wasnt sure. I tightened them down until they were compressed like the old rubber bushings that were on there before. But being poly bushings and not being able to torque them right now i dont know if thats too much

The spec is 14 ft lbs, which is basically tight enough so they won't come loose. With poly bushings I would tighten the nut until the bushings are snug enough so they can't be spun around and then give it another 1/2 to 1 turn. The spec on the bottom bolt is 51 ft lbs.
