Suspension Lifts? Group Buy for Tundra TRD 2wd/4wd coils?
Thanks to Bamachem and others looks like Tundra Coils might be a good idea for a relatively inexpensive ~2" suspension lift....Is anyone interested in getting a group buy together in order to drive down the near 300 dollar price tag on these coils????

This group buy is a great idea, but which vendor would be willing to cut prices down to something cheaper? Maybe a group buy on the OME Shocks?

it looks like the price has come down at wheelers to 219.00 - where are you getting the 180 price tag gapguy?
I was thinking shocks also - the red/blue bilsteins Bamachem mentioned in this thread

1sttoyotaparts.com has them for ~$80 per side, IIRC. Also check partznet.com. Dealers want $116 EACH.
Since the red/blue bilstein is a Toyota part, I dont see the new cost coming down either. I can however, see the OME shock coming down a little..but ARB has price limits on those too. Work some magic!
Andy's spacers are already a fantastic price, and I hope all of you jump on them!

I'm SURE you could get a company to come down on the Yellow/Blue Tundra 4x4 Bilstein HD's like I have. I'm REALLY happy with them. Personally, I think the stiffer bump, and quicker rebound of my shocks is perfect. A cross between a great crawling setup and a desert racer, of sorts.

actually I think you have to upgrade the shocks as well - N91s or Bilsteins

The stock shocks will work, but while you have the assembly apart, you might as well upgrade them as well. The stock shocks are short, and don't allow complete travel of the front assembly. If you plan on any type of crawling, then you'll want to get some billies or preferrably some OME N91s.
The billies I have only come in complete sets of 4 and we can't use the rears on our runners. I bought mine used on ebay a while back as a takeoff set from a new tundra. I recommend N91s if you change out your shocks. Wheelers has them for $212 a pair for the front. The rears are N86's and they are $149/pair.

Also I agree - definetly need to replace the shocks along with the coils if you are looking to get any downward travel; plus I dont think the OEM shocks would last very long under this setup anyways.

Also it seems www.toyotaparts4u.com has the best prices for the coils - wheelers is a little much - but then again they are super helpful

Hey everyone....I can do the coils for $80 a piece, however, we would need multiple orders (10 sets, anything over that and I will try to negotiate a cheaper price). If you wish, I could do a combo including the N91'S
