I plan to put '99 AWD springs on my 97 2wd runner. I am also replacing the shocks so if yall could give me advice on what shocks to get, that'd be great. Also were should i buy the shocks and springs? thanks yall

 

tokico trekmasters are good shocks

 

i did what you're planning, cept i went with bilstiens all around, gottem from autozone w/ lifetime warranty

 

Shocks: If most of your driving is onroad then consider the Monroe Sensatrac's...they are much cheaper than Bilstiens/OME's and also have a lifetime warranty.

Springs: Try & find them at a junk yard, or get them from an online Yota parts dealer like toyotaparts4u.com, or get the Performance Products springs at http://www.performanceproducts4truck...h+Lift+Springs

where did u get the springs? ive been looking but they are hard to find

 

ebay has some good deals on them. not sure what you pay for them in the sotres but for 230 shipped, cant go wrong

thanks... i had been searcjing trekmaster as one word so i found nothing. now i see that there is an option for 2wd or 4wd tokico shocks. I assume that i need the 2wd since my 4runner is 2wd. But i just wanted to make sure i need the 2wd drive shocks since the springs will be from a 4wd 4runner. thanks
